Daniel Holbach, born 1979, in Berlin since 2005. Alongside my own process, I was shaped by travels in India, the Middle East and South America, my yoga practice, and a good deal of self-exploration.
I started out as a software engineer, but soon grew more interested in how teams and projects work — especially volunteering in open-source communities. I know fast-paced working life well. During my sabbatical in 2017 I became Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie.
As my path makes plain, I firmly believe in second chances in life — that our inner wisdom shows us the way, and that we can keep learning to trust our vitality and our bodies.
Why did I become a therapist myself, and why is this work close to my heart?
For years I was deeply dissatisfied, living my relationships in the same loops I couldn’t see through. I often felt wrong, foreign and unsure inside. I experienced hollow bleakness and saw no possibility of change. I thought more than I felt.
It took crises on several levels, and the encouragement of people around me, before I set out on the journey of finding more of myself. In the midst of my own process I realised how much this inner work had inspired me. In 2016 I decided to become a therapist and accompany others on their way.
I know the fast-paced working world, the running on empty, and the path back to yourself. That’s why I bring genuine interest to this work – not just professionally.
Training & continuing education
For me, healing is a whole-person process that unfolds on different levels — body, cognition, spirituality, psyche, relationships. I keep training continuously, above all in the trauma- and body-psychotherapeutic field.
